What We Stand For
Mission Statement
Nous Fè is Haitian Creole for “We do”, which is the mission of our partnership with Jacmel, Haiti. We utilize our platform to empower our patients and the communities we work with to effectuate positive and sustainable change.

What We Do
Positively Impacting Global Health

Medical Service
Impacting Global Communities
Nous Fè is unique in our medical service. Nous Fè deviates from the typical, problematic voluntourism model, and instead coordinates sustainable, consistent medical service trips, each lasting at least two weeks long. During these trips, students conduct high-exposure and productive medical work that actively benefits and empowers the patient populations in Jacmel. Students work for 10-14 hours every day, taking patient vitals, charting, setting up pharmacies & distributing medication, and serving in soup kitchens and local orphanages after clinic days. The trips also impact an incredibly large radius in Haiti—we work not only in downtown Jacmel, but also with rural populations in the mountainsides and valleys surrounding Jacmel that have no access to any medical care. Teams can see anywhere from 100 to over 500 patients in one clinic day.
Non-profit Work
Setting the Foundations
Nous Fè members engage in various non-profit services with its parent non-profit, Angel Wings International. The organization currently has three committees that are dedicated to developing research initiatives, coordinating grants and funding, and increasing global health awareness and outreach.

Global Health Awareness
A Focused Approach
Global health awareness and community empowerment is a key tenet of the Nous Fè Medical Service Organization. Through a focused partnership between our organization and Jacmel, Haiti, we believe that students can learn more about global health, and make a meaningful impact. The organization hosts several awareness events throughout the year, and financially supports a partner orphanage in Jacmel.
